A Brief Introduction to College of Design & Art
The College of Design & Art, founded in 1987, is one of the earliest professional design department in the universities of China. Now it is a director member of China Industrial Design Association, China Animation Association, China Packaging Federation Packaging Education Committee and it is a chairman member of Liaoning Province Industrial Design Association.
The college of Design & Art includes industrial design which is a national characteristic major, a demonstration major of Liaoning Province, reform pilot major of Liaoning Province undergraduate engineering talent training mode. And it includes fashion design and engineering, advertising, product design, environmental art design, visual communication design, fashion and apparel design performance, animation, digital media art, painting and other 11 undergraduate majors. There are Design and Mechanical design theory (the direction of industrial design Industrial Design Engineering) 2 master's degree granting rights and there are all types of students nearly 2000 together.
